The National Historical Museum of the Kyrgyz Republic is one of the largest museums in Central Asia. The museum is located on Ala-Too Square near the city center. The museum has an impressive collection of artifacts spanning from antiquity to the end of the 20th century. The museum offers a detailed overview of the cultural history of the Kyrgyz people.
Frunze Museum
This museum showcases the life and career of Soviet General Michael Frunze for whom Bishkek was named during Soviet Times.
