Osh Bazar
Osh Bazar is one of the largest markets in Central Asia. In the food section they sell fruits, vegetables, spices and many varieties of fresh meats. It is also the place where locals shop for all of their household needs. There is a large souvenir area where you can find something unique to remember your visit to Kyrgyzstan.
Itinerary:
Morning
- ⏰09:30 — Group meeting Tourists assemble at the guest house to meet the tour guide and receive a brief description of the day's tour itinerary.
- ⏰ 10:00 — Departure from the guest house to Osh Bazaar. General information about the city and the history of Bishkek's bazaars.
- ⏰ 10:30–13:00 — Tour of Osh Bazaar Walking tour of one of Central Asia’s most vibrant markets that includes
- fruit and vegetable stalls
- oriental spices and dried fruits
- national confectionery
- meat and dairy products
- handicrafts and domestic goods
- Free time for shopping and taking photos.
Afternoon
- ⏰ 13:00–14:00 — Lunch break
- Lunch at a café/restaurant near the bazar (for an additional fee).
- ⏰ 14:00–15:00 — Continuation of the walk
- Visit:
- bread and flatbread stalls
- tea and nut stalls
- souvenir shops
- ⏰ 15:00–16:00 — End of tour
- Return to the guest house or free time at the bazaar (by agreement).
